Background Tanzania faces a shortage of rehabilitation professionals, limited resources, and minimal access to specialized care for people with disabilities. Many families depend on community centers like Mrumate for support, therapy, and education. Volunteers play an important role by assisting caregivers, helping with daily routines, supporting therapy activities, and giving children individual attention that is often difficult to provide due to understaffing.

Volunteer Roles & Departments At Mrumate, volunteers may assist in a variety of areas, depending on skills and interest.
